its 35'C outside, sunshiney, and beeeeaauutifulll. ITS FINALLY HERE :)
so far the first two weeks of my summer have been fabulous! just enjoying being relaxed and making up my agenda for the day as I go along. my summer job starts next week and im super excited, then im off to new york, new york in august (sigh) LOVE LOVE LOVE (can you tell im excited?)

so, it's my "favorite" time of year...post show week...

oh well, we had a great run and show week was just amazing!

and so I return to Canada and to updating. Italy was absolutely gorgeous, really there is no place like it. I loved everything about it, the people, the places, the weather! I can see myself living there in a couple of years...

this was one of my favorite places in Rome (and the best place to get gelato!)

so moving back into real life, I have a lot on my plate at the mo. exams and summatives are quickly approaching as well as my show at the end of may, oh how grateful I am for the calm before the storm...

oh yes, hello, have we met?

so i've had some difficulty updating the space as I have pretty much stayed at home for all of march break and nothing too exciting has happened. although, there is ALOT that will be coming up very soon for me! Starting off this Sunday when I venture to Toronto to see Spring Awakening at last!!! (dies) then 4 days after that i'm jetting off to italy for 11 days, what a dream! i've already started (attempting at least) to pack and get whatever I need. today I picked up this lovely red trench from H&M to bring long, and just for some fun I had a photo shoot in my garden! here is a preview:

so i'm flipping through tv channels the other night, really unsure about what i feel like watching and then i see that dazed and confused is on. i suddenly realized how much i LOVE parker posey! she's the type of actress who you don't really hear about and don't know too much about but when you see her in a film, you become so attached to her. did you ever see her in "waiting for guffman"? she is a comical GENIUS! watch any of her films and your life is pretty much complete.

so i definitely want these Reebok "Top Down" sneakers. maybe in red. or maybe i'll get two pairs?

there's still a lot of love going on here! this time for musician Julian Perretta.his single "Wonder Why?" has a strong 70s vibe and reminds me a lot of Mungo Jerry's "In the Summertime". give him a listen, and you won't look back!
